Gruett’s Inc. is a rapidly growing New Holland dealership in Wisconsin! With locations in Eden, Potter, Watertown, & Waupun we strive to serve our local communities as a one stop shop with sales & service on well over 50 different brands of equipment.

We prefer all candidates to have knowledge in agriculture, construction, diesel components, or similar work experience, but it is not required. We are always willing to train the right candidate.

Service Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Receive work orders from Service Manager
  • Determine service issue and parts needed for repair
  • Order parts needed for repair through Parts Department
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, GPS, and powertrain components on a wide range of equipment
  • Keep track of time worked on unit through time clock
  • Record all work done by describing what was done to the unit and a description of parts replaced
  • Test unit after repairs and troubleshoot any other issues if necessary
  • Travel to customer sites to troubleshoot and complete service
  • Answer questions and troubleshoots by phone with customer if necessary
  • Communicate changes and/or additions to Service Manager before completion of job
  • Work efficiently and in a safe manner

Ag & Construction Salesman

Responsibilities:

  • Speak with customers regularly about equipment in person and over the phone
  • Speak, present, promote, and sell our equipment and business
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling to gain a customer base, then maintain customer base once it is achieved
  • Customer base once it is achieved
  • Help customers understand the basics of using equipment
  • Help customers understand the basics of using equipment able to answer any questions the customer may have
  • Evaluate used equipment
  • Attend trade shows, county fairs, and other local events
  • Fill out sale paperwork and assist customer with credit application paperwork

Parts Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Help customers with both in person and over the phone parts orders by determining what they need
  • Help the service department determine what parts they need to fix equipment in the shop and efficiently put in orders to ensure shop productivity
  • Be a point of contact for customers of all departments and direct them to the correct department based on what they need
  • Receiving and entering parts
  • Placing stock orders
  • Know the features & benefits to using the OEM parts that we offer and promote them to customers
